  4. Take a piece of Friendly Plastic, the size of the finished barrette.  Make a
  5. cross stitched picture, a little smaller than the FP.  Bake the FP, then push
  6. the cs into it slightly (just to stick).  Let cool.  Then, decorate with paper
  7. punched pieces of FP, arranged in geometric patterns around the border, or cut
  8. out pieces.  They used little circles, arranged into flower shapes. Bake until
  9. melted.  Then, bend slightly so it fits the shape of the barrette, and attach
  10. with glue.
